More Than Just a Photo
Newborn photography is a very different experience from a traditional portrait session. These sessions are intentional, thoughtfully styled, and centered entirely around your baby’s comfort and safety.
From the moment you arrive, every detail has been considered. Your session includes the preparation of my studio, carefully selected props and accessories, a collection of wraps and textures, and the time and patience needed to photograph a brand-new little person.
Newborns don’t follow a schedule, and that’s part of the beauty of these sessions. We allow time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and all the little pauses your baby needs. There is never a rush to get through your session. Sometimes it may feel like we're moving at a fast pace, because once baby is snoozing, I try to get poses done quickly!
Afterward, each selected image is individually edited and carefully finished to create a timeless gallery that you’ll be able to revisit for generations.
Our Newborn Process
01.
Book before baby is born (if possible)
Contact me around 25-30 weeks pregnant and snag your due date on my calendar! I will send the contract and the request for the retainer. I will also send a questionnaire to ask about color choices, etc. at this time.
IF baby is already born, contact me to see if I have any openings!

Once baby arrives
Let me know by text or email ASAP once baby arrives and we will get you on my schedule between 6-15 days of age. At this time if you have not gone over our newborn prep guide, I will send it to you directly. Just a few little tips and tricks to get a sleepy baby!

The day of your shoot
Bring baby, parents/siblings if joining in, and a diaper bag (a pacifier is very helpful!). Special keepsakes like name tags, etc. are welcome and encouraged. But leave the rest to me! You do not need to buy props, outfits, hats or wraps for your baby. I take care of all of that and custom design your setups!

After Session
Less than 1 week after your session I will send your UNEDITED gallery for you to select your favorite images. Once selections are made I will email your final gallery for download. (Each package includes x amount of images - be sure to review the package you booked).
You will be able to view, share with family and friends and download digital photos for 6 months after your shoot! Print packages are delivered within a month after delivery of digitals.
Please note - smaller package does NOT mean a lesser-quality session. Every baby gets the same safety-first approach, patience, attention, and editing style. The larger collection simply includes more time and more creative options.
Why are some collections wrapped-only?
Wrapped newborn portraits are a beautiful art form all on their own. Swaddling helps create those sweet, snug images that highlight your baby’s face and tiny features while keeping the session simple and cozy.
My smaller collections are intentionally designed around this timeless style. They allow us to focus on beautiful, carefully composed portraits without the additional time needed for multiple outfits and more posing.
My full newborn collection allows for a more extensive experience. With additional time, we can explore more styling options, a variety of poses, baby outfits, and different looks to create a more diverse gallery.
The difference isn’t the amount of love or care your baby receives. Every collection receives the same attention to safety, comfort, and beautiful editing. The difference is the amount of variety and creative styling included.
