Our Maternity Sessions

At booking

Please book your shoot for when you will be about 30-32 weeks pregnant. That gives us enough wiggle room incase of babies delivered pre-term or weather re-scheduling!

Mamas with young children, if you will be pregnant during very hot or very cold months, I highly suggest booking a studio session! I have a beautiful BOHO room and white backdrop that would be ideal for smaller families with 3 or less children.

Outfit Recommendations

At the time of your booking I suggest finding my pinterest board @chelseapowellphotography. It has great examples for color coordinating. But at the end of the day, these are your photos and your vision. Outfit choices can make a HUGE difference in ascetic. I tend to love (and stick to) lighter colors with natural and creamy tones. The Beaches and Adkins Arboretum are my absolutely favorite places to shoot. There is also a spot in my hometown of Greensboro, MD. that is becoming a new favorite of mine! It consists of tall grasses and wide open grassy areas.

I HAVE DRESSES! Please let me know if you'd like to use any of my dresses (pictures below - some I do not have sample photos of. Ask me about anything!).

After Session

After your session I deliver a sneak peek of your gallery (within 5 business days) on social media, if you allow! This is so much fun to get a glimpse of your gallery before it is complete. After all the prep time and working up to your session, it's so fun to see a little piece of it and share it with family and friends!

Your gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks after your session. You will have access to your gallery of images for 3 months, with the choice to download your x amount of digitals (check packages for digital amounts) and share them, print them, etc.
